Chrome keyboard Shortcuts

Image result for control button pictureHave you ever closed a tab in Chrome and wished you had not?  You can re-open previously closed tabs by pressing Control Shift T.  Every time you press control, shift T it will open a previously opened tab.

Have you ever wanted to go back to a website that you visited days or weeks ago, but don't remember the URL?  By pressing Control H, it will open your browsing history.  If you are signed into Chrome on your other devices, you will also be able to see the browsing history of those devices.

Would you like to quickly create a new google doc, sheet or slide?  By typing docs.new, sheets.new or slides.new, you can start a new blank document.

Did you know you can mute the sound on an individual tab by right clicking on the tab.

Using Incognito mode is a way to browse the internet that prevents your browsing history from being stored.  This is a great way to browse the internet when you want to quickly use another teacher's computer without having to sign them out.  You can access Incognito mode by pressing Control Shift N, or clicking on the three little dots in the Chrome browser and choosing new incognito window.
