"Perspecs is a new free app that curates the top news stories from a variety of established regional, national and international news sources. Unlike traditional aggregators and news curation services, Perspecs goes a step further and offers readers 3 polarised opinions of the same story.
How these opinions are categorised can vary. For political stories this could be in the form of 'left', 'background', 'right.' For review items the categories could be 'negative', 'neutral', 'positive'." Quoted from their website (with English spellings). Perspecs was launched this week!
Currently this is an iPhone and Android app only though you can view the entire article on the web. Search for iPhone app, you won't find it if you search for iPad apps.
You will get current articles from the five previous weekdays. Today there are ten articles, each with three perspectives. Many of the articles are of British topical interest but some are universal. These articles are of secondary level interest. I tested two articles and their lexiles were 1170 and 1510. Some articles may be blocked for students on our network.
