Setting up your Student Apple ID

If you are under 13, your parents must create your student Apple ID. You need to have an Apple ID to be able to use your District iPad. You can create your Apple ID on your iPad. Directions are on the district website at Creating U13 AppleID

If you already have an Apple ID you can sign in using your existing Apple ID in the Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad.

Create Apple ID

Go to the App Store Search for a FREE app. ie. Google Docs Click Get > Install Create New Apple ID Agree to the Terms and Conditions. Scroll to the bottom to click Agree Select your country Click Next

Create Apple ID. Please create the Apple ID as the student Gmail account: ComputerUsername@ga.hiltoncsd.net ex: 85jgilmore@ga.hiltoncsd.net Set your password Apple policy requires you use strong passwords with your Apple ID. Your password must have a minimum of 8 characters, not contain more than 3 consecutive identical characters, and include a number, an uppercase letter, and a lowercase letter We encourage you to use Capital First initial + lowercase second initial + six digit computer log on Ex: Jg123456 Setting up your account this way allows you to choose whether to add a credit card.We recommend you select "None". Create and answer three security questions Enter billing information and phone number. You can use your home info for this. Click Next Verify the email address by opening the email account you used and clicking on the Apple email you received. Look in your Junk/Spam if you don't see it. You're done!
