Assigning yourself to the MDM
In order to receive district apps or apps that you have requested to be installed on your iPad your iPad needs to be assigned to the MDM. There are two ways to do this. The iPad app is the preferred method if you have the two blue apps on your iPad (see below).
MDM - Mobile Device Management - This allows us to push apps to your iPad. You never need to pay for district required apps.
From iPad App
Click on the "Default" app Sign in to your new iTunes account Agree to the terms and conditions. Scroll all the down to the bottom to click "Agree" You should now be enrolled in the MDM. Yay! | Click on Default App Click Sign In Enter iTunes Password Click OK |
From Email
On your iPad, find the email that you received from support@lightspeed.com about MDM. You should have two, one for Default and one for BOCESVPP. Follow these steps for both emails. Sign in to your new iTunes account Agree to the terms and conditions. Scroll all the down to the bottom to click "Agree" You should now be enrolled in the MDM.
