Setting up your Student iPad

In order to be able to use your student iPad you will need to set up a few things. You need to set up an Apple ID, or sign in if you already have one. Enroll the iPad in the MDM so you are able to receive the District provided apps, and set up your mail/contacts and calendars.

1. Mobile wifi - You need to be on the Mobile wifi (not Guest)
2. Authenticating - Login in with your student computer account EVERY DAY
3. Proxy cert - This allows you to access https sites
4. Apple ID - Creating an Apple ID if you don't have one, 
5. MDM - Enrolling the iPad in the MDM to get district purchased apps, 
6. Gmail - Setting up school gmail account

You should install the following apps: 

• Google Drive, Docs and Classroom
• Notability (it will be free)
• TI Nspire (also will be free) - 9th and 10th grade only
