Setting up your Apple ID

You need to have an Apple ID to be able to use your District iPad. You can create your Apple ID on your iPad.
If you already have an Apple ID you can sign in using your existing Apple ID in the Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad.

Create Apple ID

Go to the App Store Search for a free app. ie. Google Docs Click Get > Install Create New Apple ID Agree to the Terms and Conditions. Scroll to the bottom to click Agree Select your country Click Next

Create Apple ID. You can use any email you would like for this Set your password Apple policy requires you use strong passwords with your Apple ID. Your password must have a minimum of 8 characters, not contain more than 3 consecutive identical characters, and include a number, an uppercase letter, and a lowercase letter Setting up your account this way allows you to choose whether to add a credit card. If you do not want to use your own credit card with the account select "None". If you choose to use a credit card you are only charged for apps that cost money Create and answer three security questions Enter billing information and phone number. You can use your work info for this if you prefer Click Next Verify the email address by opening the email account you used and clicking on the Apple email you received. Look in your Junk/Spam if you don't see it. You're done!
